Proud Dad

I thank God so much for Munangi Milton. Here is my moment of grace...at this point all was moving on well - perfectly. Even today after the storm all is still happening perfectly. This is the grand lesson that I have had to learn that whatever is happening in my life is happening perfectly. I just have to hold on patiently and in humble trust in God. For there but by the grace of God go I.

The First Day

Munangi is ONE DAY Old! This was when we would count his age in days. Now all cuddled up and warm. All the clothes that his mother had carefully taken time to choose he could now put on. We longed for long life, for a family and for a home. Never could we have guessed that in 14 days Munangi's mum will be in eternity. It still sounds like a dream, like a silly joke overplayed. But is it real and only the grace of God sees us through every day.

In Mother's Warm Hands

Finally the chance to hold Munangi. Esther holds baby Munangi for the first time. Calling out his name felt a little odd. Many people preferred to call him Milton Junior. Somehow we loved the name Munangi better. We had always felt that this man will be distinguished by his resolute focus. This would accelerate his progress beyond his generation. His influence will spread across generational, ethnic and national line.

Proud Parents

Here was a perfect day. A long awaited day. To receive a son into our family was a great joy. For Esther this was a long awaited dream. She would never stop musing about it. She wanted him to look like the father.

The Birth of a Giant

Munangi is born at Avenues Clinic in Harare on the 23rd of February 2006 at 6.30 am. It was a joy to receive him and welcome him to the world. The Doctor who attended to his mother was Dr. Nhemachena and the midwife was Mrs. Sibanda.

There he goes

Munangi in action and as always in a jovial and hopeful mood. He experiments a lot. The first word that he mastered was "Go". I imagine he is a man on the move and on-the-go.

Simblings - With Sister

Munangi with his sister Mukundi. Its great comfort to play with them and to spend time with them. They can be highly energetic.

A Bundle of Joy and Energy

Munangi in a jovial mood. With teeth still forming saliva was like a river.

His bright eyes are so full of light and promise.

There is a great future that is in store for this giant!

Alert and Active

Munangi was born on the 23rd of February 2006 at Avenues Clinic in Harare. We called him Munangi because we sensed that he will be a man of destiny and mission. He will be focused and this will be a defining feature in all the things that he does.
